Position Summary: The primary position responsibilities include assisting with research activities for heterogeneous catalyst synthesis, characterization and reaction testing using high pressure/high temperature flow-through reactor systems for development of specialty fuels and hydrocarbons.
Minimum Qualifications:

Due to the nature of this position, applicants must be a U.S. Citizens and capable of securing a satisfactory National Agency

P1 minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field of study (e.g., Chemistry, Material Science, etc.) and equivalent work experience to demonstrate fundamental knowledge and experience in one or more of these fields.
Minimum experience (1 or more of the following)
• 1 year of experience performing supervised laboratory testing/research in a university or industrial setting working with heterogeneous catalyst synthesis and characterization
• 1 year of experience performing supervised laboratory testing/research in a university or industrial setting working with high temperature/high pressure reaction systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

P2 minimum qualifications (in addition to the qualifications above)
• A minimum of 3 years directly related experience as described above is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field of study.
Demonstrated research skills through journal publication(s) in relevant field(s).
