Position Summary:

The Identify, Apply and Scale (IAS) capability, located in Beavercreek, OH, is the hub of the Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) and will be the lead in bringing together a comprehensive network of new technological methods, processes, and techniques. Success will come from our teamwork and mutual respect for each other’s talents and unique perspectives.

Duties will include, but are not be limited to management of facility operations, preventative and general maintenance, coordination of repairs and upgrades, management of overall property and lease, in accordance with safety and code requirements. Also included are short and long-range planning, initial construction and renovation projects, energy management, fire protection systems, building code compliance, janitorial, and processes to support the achievement of UDRI's and RSO's business goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline or applicable field of study or a minimum of 3 years directly related experience in facilities engineering and management
Working knowledge of code, applicable laws in relation to electrical, structural, plumbing, HVAC, etc…
Experience leading and working projects connecting in general contractors and sub-contractors
Demonstrated experience with reading and interpreting construction drawings and CAD
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
Attention to Detail
Highly Organized
Excellent written communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to work with no supervision
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years’ of direct construction and/or facility management experience
Experience with leases and lease management
Excellent verbal communication skills
Proven experience in customer facing roles
Demonstrated experience working with and leading a multi-disciplinary team(s)
Direct experience working with facility landlords and contractors in relation to construction and maintenance
