Position Summary: The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide leadership and management for the office functions for the Office of Community Standards and Civility. This includes but is not limited to direction of office staff, management of federally protected records, creation and management of complex processes and procedures in compliance with the Student Handbook, Code of Conduct and federal law, managing office budgets, scheduling multiple constituents for the University Hearing Board, managing federally protected records, managing the receipt of paperwork associated with case load, guiding and advising students, parents, faculty and staff members with regards to the student conduct process, communication (both verbal and written) both internally and externally.Managing the module holds for the incoming first year students.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree Expertise in all aspects of Microsoft Office.

Demonstrate the ability to quickly rise to a level of expertise with specialty software.

Advanced specialized clerical training and/or minimum of 5 years advanced clerical work.

Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.

Ability to multitask as the primary administrative assistant as well as receptionist

Ability to adapt previous office practices to new situations without intervention of supervisor.

Ability to prioritize work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Student information data systems such as Banner and Advocate. Ability to defuse angry or upset constituents.

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated experience working effectively with a diverse group of constituents.
