Position Summary: This position will be responsible for working, as part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to write software and interface with hardware to develop a GNSS modeling and simulation testbed. The ideal candidate will have experience writing software drivers for various types of navigation equipment and knowledge of how to synchronize multiple pieces of hardware to a common time source. They will also have experience with writing analysis tools and providing end-users meaningful insights into how a simulation is running.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other relevant technical field
- A minimum of three years of directly related experience is required
- Demonstrated, successful experience developing software using C++ or Python
- Demonstrated, successful experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments
- Due to the nature of this position, US. Citizenship is required
- Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant technical field
- Working knowledge of satellite navigation/GNSS
- Experience with test and verification of navigation and communication equipment, including GNSS receivers, GNSS simulators, and signal generators
- Experience developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands, status, data) with hardware devices, sensors, and/or systems
- Experience with system timing and synchronization
- Experience with open architecture design
- Active SECRET clearance
