Position Summary: The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking a highly motivated and highly talented cost analyst/auditor to analyze and interpret data, make comparative analyses, audit cost model and technical report creation and completion for accuracy, and verify proposed changes in methods and materials.
Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field
• 3+ years’ experience conducting accounting/bookkeeping functions.
• Experience auditing complex cost models and technical reports and correct to a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience inspecting and modifying data to structure sophisticated reports on advanced manufacturing processes.
• Experience conducting basic cost modeling and cost benefit analyses.
• Working knowledge developing algorithms using Microsoft Excel to support quantitative data analysis on manufacturing processes.
• US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the minimum requirements, a preferred candidate will also have:
• 5+ years’ experience performing accounting, bookkeeping, and auditing duties.
• Ability to draw analytical conclusions from studies and formulate recommendations on program approaches to management for decision-making purposes.
• Ability to create complex cost models/estimators for rapid cost estimation on advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Advanced skill using MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Skill providing authoritative interpretation of DOD and USAF guidelines and regulations concerning production, cost and economic analysis requirements and techniques.
• Exercise an exceptional attention to detail in all work.
• Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision.
• Possess excellent data gathering and analysis skills.
