Position Summary: This is a full time position to develop, deliver, and evaluate education and training programs. Applies US Air Force instructional system development (ISD) process. Compares individual knowledge and skills with job standards, and identifies Education and Training requirements. Develops objectives to meet Air Force academic, vocational, and technical standards. Sequences objectives; selects instructional design, method, and media; and identifies resource needs. Creates materials to support objectives. Develops tests and standards to measure individual abilities. Evaluates education and training programs, recommends actions to correct deficiencies and oversees evaluations and surveys.
Minimum Qualifications:

1. 8 years’ experience working as an instructional technologist/designer with experience planning, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training and courseware.
2. 3 years’ experience working with US Air Force instructional system design (ISD), course design, curriculum development, or instruction design.
3.Working knowledge of US Air Force principles, policies, and procedures of Air Force Education and Training programs.
4. Proficient using Articulate, computer based training (CBT) software.
5. US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Strong experience developing custom technical training programs in a variety of curriculum and interactive formats, including instructor-led, self-paced paper based, and e-learning formats, employing a systematic methodology and instructional technology.
2. Masters of Education in Instructional Design
3. Familiar with University of Dayton Research Institute and University of Dayton policies and procedures.
4. Familiar with Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) and associated interfaces.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint), Adobe suite and other video editing software.
6. Demonstrated writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting of customer-ready materials.
7. Demonstrated effective verbal communications with client at senior levels of leadership.
8. Ability to develop a basic subject-matter understanding through materials provided and individual research/collaboration with course/content stakeholders.
9. Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
10. Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
11. Knowledge of composite repair certifications and processes as it related to the Air Force protocols
