Position Summary:
This person will coordinate daily operations in the Office of Student Success and provide administrative and clerical support to the assistant dean and 5 academic advisors. They will perform all required office management duties including answering advising office email, answering the phone, managing student records keeping, run reports to support advisors and manage employee hiring and processing. This person will hire, train, schedule and directs work of student workers, peer advisors/mentors and facilitator/tutors and process confidentiality agreements to get access for needed systems. They will support development and maintenance of department procedures and Google Drive/Box files. They will also handle forms processing workflow. They will organizes academic probation set up for advisors, send probation agreements and sets up meetings with students. They will maintain office equipment, supplies and forms. They will attend scheduled Admin meetings and participate on other committees as needed providing updates to the assistant dean. This person will support 3 courses taught by the OSS department including assisting with course composite, room scheduling, speaker invitations, resolving student issues, tracking attendance and assisting with Isidore updates. They will assist the Student Success Network (SSN) Coordinator with flag tracking to support student success. They will complete other projects as assigned by the assistant dean. 
Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree
• Four or more years of administrative support experience in a professional setting
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products
• Experience with file storage organization in a shared platform
• Ability to organize and update people’s records (as in employee, student, patient, client, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
• Ability to take initiative and suggest process improvements for OSS
• Experience following procedures and processes
• Excellent written, phone and in person communication skills
• Ability to interact with multiple constituents including students, faculty, staff and administration
• Ability to work M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm with minimal but occasional evening or weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Four or more years of administrative support experience in a higher education institution professional setting
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel using pivot tables and Gmail with Google Calendar
• Experience with use of AdobeSign
• Experience with Zoom
• Experience with use of Banner, COGNOS, Isidore, Student Success Network, DegreeWorks, NextCatalog, Google Drive, Box
• Experience managing student records
• Experience using Social Media to communicate with students
• Knowledge and sensitivity to Marianist values of the University of Dayton
