Position Summary: This position will support the Cold Spray Repair Technologies Group within the Sustainment Technologies Transition Division. The person filling the position will serve as a repair engineer, which will include developing and managing repair projects, developing test plans and reports, updating and maintaining standard operating procedures and safety procedures, and tracking metrics. The successful candidate will understand cold spray or other repair techniques, equipment, material testing methods, and repair set-up and pre- and post-processing. The majority of work will support government customers, with potential for industry partners to be supported as well.
Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology in technology field and 3 years of experience in lab or technology field.
Demonstrated experience operating/understanding lab equipment.
Demonstrated knowledge of qualification testing methods and ability to evaluate testing results.
Competency with solid modeling software such as Solidworks.
Experience working closely with technicians and engineers.
Attention to detail.
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working with USAF projects.
Experience training others to use equipment and follow procedures.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels and demonstrated organizational skills.
