Position Summary: This position will elevate the existing quality system to the next-level Quality Management System (QMS), supporting increased product criticality, process discipline, and quality metrics improvement. Additionally, the job will entail continued implementation, developing, and maintaining the QMS for a low volume, high mix advanced manufacturing environment at UDRI and developing process documentation for use by the USAF. Supporting advanced manufacturing programs for sustainment activities is integral to this enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in science, engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent or 12 years career experience in a related field
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience maintaining, developing, implementing, or auditing standard operating procedures/work instructions and quality system architecture in a regulated manufacturing environment
3. A minimum of 10 years directly related experience with inspection, quality control, or quality system development/management in a regulated manufacturing environment
4. Demonstrated experience in root cause and corrective action processes and tools
5. Working knowledge of dispositioning non-conformances and non-compliances (similar to Material Review Board type processes)
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
7. Experience with developing and/or performing training for quality systems
8. Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001
9. Experience with regulatory body audits (example, AS9100 or ISO9001)
10. Demonstrated organizational skills
11. Demonstrated successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
12. Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels
13. Ability to relate to and motivate work associates in the spirit of collaboration, relative to correcting mistakes and preventing them in the future
14. Attention to detail
15. Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiar with the latest GD&T standards
2. Holds a certificate in quality control
3. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green belt or above)
4. Familiar with various manufacturing processes such as casting, CNC machining, forging, heat treat, and additive manufacturing for metals and plastics
5. ERP or MRP software utilizing its quality control modules
6. Non Destructive Inspection Experience
