Position Summary: This position is located at the Advanced Technology and Training Center (ATTC) – Dayton, OH at the University of Dayton Research Institute. This position provides manufacturing operations support for aircraft and vehicle sustainment technology development and transition including vehicle maintenance, aircraft maintenance, and ground support equipment. This position will support the Additive Manufacturing Operations Group and will report to the Additive Manufacturing Group Leader. Duties will include but are not be limited to, supply chain support including vendor selection and development, process analysis using E2 ERP software and inventory management, and related purchasing activities. At the request of the AM Operations Group leader, this position may also be responsible for planning, coordination, and management of special projects; coordination, compilation, and facilitation of periodic AM metrics reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations management, or business discipline or applicable field of study or a minimum of 3 years directly related experience in operations or production analysis or project management
• Minimum of 3 years of project management, supply chain management or operations management experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing multiple projects in new product development, operations, or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with no supervision
• Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required


Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree in engineering, operations management, or business discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management, supply chain management or operations management experience
• Experience using E2 Shoptech ERP systems.
• Additive manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated experience working with and leading a multi-disciplinary team(s)
• Experience with inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a buyer and or supply chain leader
