Position Summary:

Join our team at Eglin AFB located in Florida where we work to support the Air Force mission. We invite qualified candidates to apply for our Research Engineer opening! The primary purpose of this position is to conduct sponsored on site research at the AFRL Fuzes Directorate at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The focus of the research is the development of of multi-axis conformal printing systems for conductive materials. This position will collaborate with the electronics manufacturing team with the design, printing and troubleshooting of related technology and equipment. Setup of new equipment and techniques expected. A strong team approach along with strong written and verbal skills for reports, presentations and other forms of communication required. Some travel may be required to present at technical conferences and forums.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in engineering or related technical work experience.
Has experience with electrical and mechanical drawing software.
Has experience with conformal printing techniques.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
Candidate must be able to obtain a SECRET level security clearance.

A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required for R2 level

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

MS or PhD in engineering.
Has experience with aerosol jet technology.
Experience working in the Defense sector.
Holds an active SECRET level security clearance.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
