Position Summary: |

Join our Facilities department as a Lead HVAC Technician! Facilities Management & Planning is responsible for the care and maintenance of 5 million square feet of academic, administrative & athletic facilities, on a 388 acre urban campus. Provide services to support the continued operation, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, and all related systems, including automation controls/energy management. Provide advanced training/support/diagnostic services to HVAC Technicians for equipment/circumstances where required.

Minimum Qualifications: |
High school graduate, with a minimum of seven (7) years experience in HVAC. Completion of HVAC Certification Programs Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification DDC & Pneumatic Controls Training. Individual must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by the University, which includes maintaining a low-risk driving record. Documentation required for all of the above. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Ten (10) years of recent experience performing work as described herein Institutional experience. Training/ Certification in specialized HVAC equipment or building automation systems.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
