Position Summary:

This is a full time benefit eligible position that offers health, dental and vision insurance, retirement, disability, tuition assistance for you and your dependents, vacation/sick accrual and holiday pay.

The Associate Director of Operations and Graduate Student Services maintains the primary responsibility for the quality of co and extra curricular graduate student services, and coordinates a large and complex graduate student aid budget. They are the primary planner for graduate student events that includes GA and graduate student orientations, the Graduate Student Showcase, socials, receptions, and awards ceremonies. They collaborate with other university units that includes enrollment management, graduate admissions, and student development, as well as organizations clients outside of the University, in support of graduate academic affairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business, communication, higher education, or related field
Five (5) years of work experience in a higher education environment
Strong customer service orientation with proven commitment to operational excellence
Strong attention to detail
Direct experience developing and deploying student services and program
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Masters degree
Experience collecting and organizing data
Experience using data to guide decision making and planning
Training and meeting facilitation experience
Commitment to personal integrity and a strong work ethic that align to the University's Catholic/Marianist character
Mentoring or performance coaching experience
Experience in advising graduate students
Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities
