Position Summary:

This position will support the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Group and is responsible for the following tasks.
- Generate and complete all forms and documentation necessary to create a full job packet to release to manufacturing shop floor
- Communicate with stakeholders and ensure all pre-requisites are met in preparation for review meetings
- Create and review job routers within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Generate project level routers in collaboration with engineering part owners and project manager to help with accurate projection of tasks and timelines
- Conduct routine audit of project folder structures within SolidWorks PDM to ensure compliance with procedures and milestone closeout
- Assist technical project manager in project tracking and updates
- Generate/update briefings for recurring customer meetings based on project status
- Assist the engineering group in logistics and scheduling as needed
Finally, this position will provide customer-facing support, present data, and transmit approved information as requested. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and attention detail are a must. Candidate must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Minimum Qualifications:

P1 Requirements
1. Associate’s degree in business management, technical, or equivalent
2. 3+ years of professional work experience
3. Experience with project/manufacturing steps tracking
4. Effective interpersonal communication skills capable of collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams
5. Attention to detail
6. Ability to learn and utilize new software/technology with minimal training/guidance
7. Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment
8. Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
9. Experience generating customer deliverable documents and briefings

A P2 must meet all P1 minimum qualifications in addition to the qualifications listed below.
1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, technical, or equivalent with 3+ years of professional work experience
2. Familiarity with agile project management

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

1. Experience working in a manufacturing environment
2. Experience generating manufacturing routers
3. Experience using an ERP system
4. Experience reviewing documents for accuracy
5. Experience in technical project management
6. Experience using SolidWorks PDM
