The SEHS Recruitment and Student Success Coordinator will manage recruitment initiatives for students, develop retention initiatives, and provide support for student success within the School of Education and Health Sciences (SEHS). The Coordinator will collaborate with University partners to support and advance a diverse learning environment and enrollment/retention-related outcomes across the full student lifecycle from recruitment through graduation, with an emphasis on students from underrepresented populations. The Coordinator is responsible for leading and facilitating a wide range of admissions and recruitment activities for the SEHS Dean's Office. • Assist in the development and lead the execution of a recruiting strategy for the School of Education and Health Sciences. • Design, implement, and participate in programming that aligns with SEHS and broader campus-wide events, such as prospective student visits, New Student Orientation, Welcome Weekend, Admitted Student Days, and summer camps for high school students; implementation includes organizing and planning logistics, events, dining, facilities, communications, staffing, interfacing with guests, etc. • Lead the Dean’s Ambassadors program, including recruiting and supervising these student workers who will represent the School of Education and Health Sciences as tour guides and at prospective student, alumni, and other events. • Support the School of Education and Health Sciences’ efforts to maintain inclusive recruiting practices, recruit a student body that is representative of the overall population, and support equitable access to student organizations. • Utilize Enrollment Management’s recruitment software systems (e.g., Education Cloud, Blackthorn, etc.) to develop reports to effectively track and monitor recruitment progress and event and visit data. • Create and implement process improvements in relation to recruiting, admissions, other programming, marketing, communications, and student organizations. • Work with the Dean to implement high-profile signature events such as alumni/donor events. • Serve as a representative of the School of Education and Health Sciences with alumni and donor visitors. • Collaborate with other units across campus to share best practices and support recruiting, admissions, marketing, communications, and student organizations, including representing SEHS on campus-wide committees related to these areas
● Additionally, this position supports SEHS education and counseling in the administration of essential student driven procedures. The incumbent specifically manages graduation requirements, licensing and transfer credit processes for approximately 1,400 undergraduates and 600 graduate students. They also coordinate licensure processes for approximately 66 unit faculty across four departments.

Minimum Qualifications: |
● Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience related to recruitment, marketing, relationship building, student development and engagement or other work involving project planning, attention to detail, public speaking and personal interaction ● Strong evidence of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills ● Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including students, faculty, staff and alumni ● Professional experience in program development, implementation and evaluation ● Ability to be highly independent, self-motivated and team-oriented and to represent the University of Dayton at the highest level ● Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. ● Experience effectively interaction with individuals of diverse backgrounds ● Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed ● Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills

● Master’s degree with 2 or more years of recent professional experience ● Professional experience serving in a similar role at a university or college ● At least 7 years of experience in recruitment, marketing, communications, relationship building, student development, or other work involving project planning, attention to detail, public speaking and personal interaction ● Demonstrated success engaging effectively and respectfully with multiple constituents, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and university guests ● Experience working with underrepresented college or high school students ● Successful experience managing confidential records and knowledge of FERPA ● Affinity for the values central to the Marianist environment, including diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice
