UDRI is seeking a qualified Associate Facilities Assistant at our Dayton location to support facilities management, research and production activities. Successful candidate will be responsible for divisional courier service, performing shipping and receiving duties, package inspection, vendor pick-up/drop-off, supporting front desk and visitor sign-in, warehouse inventory, cleaning lab floors/areas and facility/administrative duties as-needed. The physical ability to manage shipping/receiving packages, operate material handling equipment and a valid drivers license is required.

Minimum Qualifications: |
• High school diploma or equivalent • 3 years min of experience in courier, shipping & receiving or administrative operations • Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills • Customer service oriented • Organization skills and detail oriented • Self-motivated, and able to multi-task • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others at all levels of the organization • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • Problem Solving ability • Excellent Time Management skills • Ability to lift 50+ pounds • Ability to operate material handling equipment • Valid drivers license with low risk driving record • Must qualify for University of Dayton Drivers Certification • Must pass University of Dayton background audit • Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen
