The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in automated testing, cloud-based environments, and CI/CD practices, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure applications. As a senior team member, this role also mentors junior QA engineers and contributes to continuous process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications: |
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance. • 10+ years of experience with Manual testing, Automation testing, Accessibility testing. • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. including experience in test planning, test automation, and defect tracking. • Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen. • Must be eligible to secure and maintain a clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
• Proficient in writing Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Estimating, Traceability Matrix, Knowledge Transfer documents. • 12 years of directly related experience. • 5+ years with Agile Development experience. • 4+ years working with Department of Defense customers. • Ability to promote inclusive excellence in the workplace.
