This position will be responsible for a combination of technical implementation, technical leadership and business development duties related to developing, maintaining and deploying all aspects of computer systems related to remote sensing and imaging platforms. This may include writing and testing software in high level languages; writing and testing logic in hardware description languages; developing and testing signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation; and performing systems integration and testing for technology maturation.

1. Ph.D. in relevant technical field
2. 6 years experience in related field(s)
3. Three years of demonstrated, successful experience in algorithms development
4. Successful experience with modern C++
5. Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen and cannot hold dual citizenship
6. Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

1. Demonstrated, successful experience programming in algorithm level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python or similar
2. Demonstrated, successful experience developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands, status, data) with hardware devices, sensors, and/or systems
3. Demonstrated, successful experience with source code version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or similar
4. Demonstrated, successful experience with software development practices such as Agile, Scrum, or similar
5. Demonstrated, successful experience developing complex systems of systems (SoS) by integrating disparate software and hardware systems from multiple vendors
6. Demonstrated, successful experience with sensing modalities including Electro Optical (EO), Infrared (IR), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI), LiDAR, or polarimetric imaging (PI)
7. Demonstrated, successful experience with embedded systems design and programming, including Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
8. Demonstrated, successful experience with developing, integrating and maintaining multi int Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems at high levels of technological readiness
9. Demonstrated, successful experience leading technical teams in solving complex computer engineering problems
10. Demonstrated experience developing and interacting with 6DOF models
11. An active SECRET (or higher) clearance
