The successful candidate will advance the mission of the University of Dayton by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the level of personal involvement and financial commitment of alumni and friends to the SOE.

Continuing its pursuit of excellence, UD enrolls 10,500 students, including more than 7,500 full-time undergraduates and 3,000 graduate and law students, and is one of the nation's largest Catholic universities and the largest private university in Ohio. Serving in a collegial, consultative, and cooperative fashion, the position will partner with Advancement division and its associated processes and tools, executive, and academic leaders in the strategic planning and execution of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working in collaboration with the Dean to move campaign priorities and objectives forward, gathering data and assessing prospects, documenting and communicating individual strategies and activity for each qualified prospect, teaming closely with other Advancement development officers and Advancement operations personnel to support prospective donors to the SOE, representing the University at events that promote engagement and philanthropy, providing support to event personnel in the identification and recruitment of attendees, demonstrating leadership in the development community, and working closely with marketing and communications to maximize alumni engagement and ensure coordination of the school's communication and fundraising efforts.
