Performs the function of an associate research engineer in the field of electrical engineering, with position title of Dynamic Facility Data and Control Engineer. This position is located at WPAFB in building B65. Roles and responsibilities include assisting Government engineers in the design and operation of control and data systems, create AutoCAD 2D electric drawings, test designs and plans, participate in project planning, create and modify PLC and HMI programs for facility controls, create or modify LABView software for data acquisition and post processing needs, execute plans as a test operator, and set up, install, and dispense of dynamic instrumentation. Responsible for planning, designing, and testing; and maintaining training and system access qualifications in compliance with local testing policies and the Air Force ground and system safety guidelines and policies.
Dispatcher Public Safety - 701100
The dispatcher is the primary communication link between community members and officers providing assistance. The dispatcher answers calls for assistance, prioritizes these calls, obtains and records pertinent information, assigns personnel to respond, coordinates the response of police, fire, and emergency medical services personnel, and assists responding personnel with support information. The dispatcher is responsible for all telephone and personal requests for service, operation of all alarm and security systems, operation of internal and external data systems including computer aided dispatching and the Law Enforcement Automated Data Systems, and coordination of all radio traffic.
Research Engineer Structures & Materials Evaluation - 4290
Performs the function of a research engineer focusing on advanced mechanical testing of laboratory specimens and subscale structural components to determine and understand mechanical behavior, deformation, failure, and fracture. Major duties include leading projects on determining mechanical behavior of materials, particularly tensile, fatigue, and crack growth. Additional duties include writing technical reports detailing experimental procedures and mechanical behavior results. Must be able to pass a national agency check (NAC).

1) Data Management: Coordinate the collection, aggregation, organization, and reporting of SEHS data, particularly as they relate to assessment and accreditation requirements.
