Position Summary: This position is located in Warner Robins, Georgia and will support sustainment activities focusing on advanced manufacturing and repair. The position will serve as a lab technician for additive manufacturing operations. This includes setting up, operating and maintaining equipment, consumable and spare parts inventory, and adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The successful candidate will understand additive manufacturing and conventional machining techniques, equipment and part set up and processing. The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners will be supported as well.
Minimum Qualifications:

T2 minimum requirements
High school graduation or 3 years equivalent related manufacturing or technology experience
Demonstrated experience in additive manufacturing and conventional machining operations for metals
Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining EOS M290 metal printers
Demonstrated experience creating and editing polymer printer g-code files
Demonstrated experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or other numerically controlled machining equipment
Demonstrated experience using precision measurement equipment, such as outside micrometers, dial calipers, and feeler gauges
Demonstrated experience performing equipment maintenance in accordance with USAF technical orders
Attention to detail
Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required
Valid driver’s license with low risk driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in additive manufacturing and conventional machining operations
1+ years of experience in operating additive manufacturing equipment for polymers and metals and numerically controlled machining equipment
Demonstrated experience with lab environments and adherence to lab policies & procedures
Demonstrated experience with various CAD/CAM software packages
Experience creating g-code files for additive manufacturing using Simplify 3D
Experience in interacting with design engineers and other technical personnel
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels
Demonstrated organizational skills
