The division of Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) is focused on service excellence to recruit, enroll and graduate highly qualified students and improve access, affordability, diversity, inclusion and success. The Processing Specialist II plays a critical support role in these efforts and is responsible for executing the daily processes and data entry that directly support all levels of the admission cycle. Reporting to the Associate Director of Enrollment Services, the Processing Specialist II will ensure efficient processing, with a focus on data quality, of incoming applications to the university and an overall knowledge of at least two of the three student populations: international undergraduate/graduate, domestic undergraduate, or domestic graduate.

Minimum Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-A minimum of 3 years of data entry and related office experience.
-Computer skills are essential; experience with Word, Excel and Internet are required.
-Ability to meet the public and interact with all areas of the University community.
-Effective written and oral communication skills.
-Must be self directed and able to work without close supervision.
-Strong organizational skills, ability to exercise judgment and prioritize a variety of tasks, as well as work with deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy within a fast paced environment.
-Must be able to maintain confidentiality and work with material of a confidential nature.
-Ability to type and complete data entry with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

-Bachelor's degree.
-Previous experience in application admission processing.
-Knowledge/working experience with Banner and Salesforce systems strongly preferred.
-Experience in Gmail and shared drive settings.
-Demonstrated experience working with international students or processes.
