This is a full time position at the UDRI campus in Dayton, OH. The position is to provide assistance to the project management team supporting sustainment technology projects including automation and lasers, advanced manufacturing, and cold spray repair. The work will primarily support government customers, but some industrial business may be supported as well. Specific work tasks include taking meeting minutes; updating and managing action items; preparing briefing slides; updating project management tools such as MS Project and Excel spreadsheets; and setting up meetings and managing calendars. This will all be done to assist the project managers with completing projects within cost and planned schedule, scope and meet risk and performance requirements. This position will also support the financial objectives by assisting project managers handling spend plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree
-5 years experience working in a business environment
-Experience with assisting Project Managers and their responsibilities associated with managing cost, schedule and scope
-Familiar with generating meeting minutes, travel preparations, Power Point slides and scheduling meetings
-Experience working with Materials and Cold Spray technicians and engineers
-Valid driver's license with low risk driving record
-Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

-Experience with UDRI policies and procedures
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
-Working knowledge of US Air Force policies and procedures
-Effective interpersonal communication skills demonstrated by working directly with the customer and senior levels of leadership
-Effective successful collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
-Experience with creating Integrated Master Plans and Integrated Master Schedules
