Position Summary:

The UDRI Front Desk Administrator assists the Front Desk Coordinator in greeting and processing visitors at the Daniel J. Curran Place facility. The Administrator provides coverage at the front desk when the Coordinator is unavailable, and assists with the visitor control program. The Front Desk Administrator performs the following duties:

• Greets and assists visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they sign in, providing them the appropriate visitor badge, and ensuring they are escorted as required.
• Answers and directs calls and assists with visitor questions.
• Accepts, sorts, and distributes internal mail and package deliveries.
• Ensures visitor logs are accurate and complete.
• Assists in coordinating receipt of visitors for conferences and other large-scale visits.
• As required, provides similar front desk support to other local UDRI locations.
• Assists in coordinating receipt of visitors for conferences and other large-scale visits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of one year of experience OR an Associate's degree (or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a culturally diverse team in a growing organization
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Experience handling sensitive information in a professional manner
