Position Summary:

The University of Dayton, a vibrant institution, invites dynamic individuals to join our team as a UD Arena Concessions Team Leader within the Athletics division. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to be part of the electrifying world of college sports while showcasing your leadership skills and dedication to exceptional customer service.

The UD Arena Concessions Team Leader will assist the Director of Concessions with the preparation and set up of catered events and assist with the operations of general concessions stations throughout the UD Arena for sports and entertainment events. Typical duties will include (but not limited to): assisting and instructing volunteer groups working in the concession stations; insure that the concession stations are stocked; regularly check inventory and rotate stock; assist with the instruction and training of concession runners; assist with the cooking of concession food as needed prior to events; and be responsible for concession station clean up and catering clean up after games/events.

All University of Dayton Athletics employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the NCAA and the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience working in a catering or concessions environment.
- Proven experience performing job duties with minimal supervision.
- Able to demonstrate good written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and experience of being a decision maker.
- Experience providing catering support/services at a sports venue.
- Experience providing catering services for sports venue clientele such as donors/season ticket holders.
- Able to demonstrate excellent, clear verbal communication skills.
- Experience directing food service staff.
- Able to demonstrate good organizational skills.
