The Assistant Director, Leadership Programs is responsible for the design and delivery of high-quality leadership programs for executives, emerging leaders, supervisors, and professionals including but not limited to needs assessment and curriculum design; identification, selection, negotiation, and feedback of program facilitation; program participant recruitment; program logistics, measurement and evaluation; assessment feedback; delivering training programs; and budget management.
The Assistant Director, Leadership Programs should be self-motivated and work independently, but able to team with a group of other talented individuals to lead and manage their respective open enrollment leadership programs, certificate programs, and/or custom experiences.
The Assistant Director, Leadership Programs should demonstrate experience building strong relationships with senior level executives and key stakeholders. The Assistant Director, Leadership Programs will strategically collaborate with colleagues and clients to identify and recommend high quality programs, custom solutions, and services to partners and program participants of small, medium, and large corporations, government, educational, and not-for-profit organizations.
Occasional travel between client sites, offices, or training locations as needed.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
* Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience OR five (5) years of relevant experience in business, education or leadership experience. * Two years (2) of training and organizational development experience in a corporate or in an educational environment. * Experience developing and deploying leadership development programs for adult professionals. * Experience identifying, negotiating, hiring, and preparing facilitators who teach programs. * Experience providing positive and developmental feedback for professional development. * Training, presentation, or facilitation experience. * Experience developing long-term relationships with clients and colleagues. * Experience working independently as well as collaborating in a team environment. * Experience in customer service with both internal and external clients. * Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Problem solving and reasoning skills. * Successful experience planning and managing details and follow-up for multiple programs/projects simultaneously, and be accountable for deadlines. * Experience working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual platforms (i.e. Zoom, Teams, etc). * Valid driver’s license, low risk driving record, and ability to be insured by the university.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
* Master’s Degree in business, education, or leadership. * Managing training and development, leadership development, and/or educational programing as a primary focus of job. * Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial office environment. * Demonstrated ability to forecast program expenses and monitor a budget, for accuracy and verification. * Previous sales, fundraising, and/or business development experience. * Strong work ethic, personal initiative, and high level of engagement at work. * Experience learning new technology, including databases, such as Salesforce, software applications, web-based applications and Adobe Suites; experience with registration systems, such as Cvent, is a plus. * A sense of curiosity and commitment to learning, leadership, and/or leadership development. * Certification or experience with leadership assessments. * Ability to promote inclusive excellence in the workplace.
