Position Summary: The person in this position creates a friendly and welcoming presence for Gosiger Hall and the Counseling Center (CC). While scheduling appointments for all the CC staff and consulting psychiatrists, this individual handles unique, stressful, and legally confidential situations at the front desk of the CC while working independently. In addition, this person supports and is cross trained to provide additional duties in the CC and for Gosiger Hall.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School graduate.
Five years of professional customer service and office support experience.
Possess appropriate professional and personal boundaries necessary for working with legally confidential information.
Ability to maintain all information related to students as confidential within the Counseling Center.
Ability to make timely and sensitive decisions.
Effective interpersonal skills with students, staff, faculty, and parents.
Ability to maintain a professional presence in challenging situations.

Experience using email and the telephone in a professional manner.
Computer skills needed to function in a professional manner at the CC, including Microsoft Office, Titanium, Google Suite and Zoom.

Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with confidential information.
Experience working at the University of Dayton.
Post secondary educational experience.
