Are you an Aerospace Engineer passionate about advancing sustainable energy solutions? Join the University of Dayton's prestigious UDRI - Power & Energy division as an Associate Aerospace Engineer and be at the forefront of cutting-edge research and innovation.
The Entry-Level Aerospace Engineer is responsible for component developments of aerothermal, thermoelectric, and aeroelastic systems. The focus areas of particular interest are propulsion, high speed vehicles, and high-temperature systems. The candidate will primarily be integrating components and modeling into the experimental rig, maximizing experimental confidence by taking required data, developing and validating system-level Digital Engineering models of complex subsystems.

Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering Enthusiasm for working with aerothermal, thermoelectric, and aeroelastic systems Very strong interpersonal and communication skills A detailed working knowledge of 1D models and 3D CFD and FEA Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens

Master’s Degree 2+ years of aerospace engineering experience Experience with Digital Engineering Experience with DoD / Government contractor Experience working with a geographically diverse engineering team
