Position Summary: The Production lead position will oversee, direct and manage production planning and reporting for all advanced manufacturing processes at the Advanced Technical Training Centers (ATTC) by monitoring all process flows and assessing speed and efficiency at every point using metric driven solutions, ERP reporting through Global Shop, identify process inefficiencies and set up appropriate ad-hoc cross-group teams to analyze and recommend solutions, and develop and submit metrics and analytics for internal and external stakeholders. This position will also drive all appropriate operations into a consolidated production master schedule to make the best use of shared resources and communicate impacts to scheduling with peers and leadership, and ensure that outsourced processes are justified and tracked to meet project deadlines. Additionally, this position will require regular communications with internal and external stakeholders on the current state of all projects at the ATTCs.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations management, a business discipline or applicable field of study- OR a minimum of 3 years directly-related experience in operations or production analysis or project management
• Minimum of 5 years’ of project management, supply chain management or operations management experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing multiple projects in new product development, operations, or manufacturing environments
• Experience using Global Shop ERP systems
• Additive manufacturing experience
• Experience working with and leading teams composed of a variety of stakeholders
• Experience with inventory management within a manufacturing environment
• Experience as a buyer and or supply chain leader
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work with no supervision
• Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen’
