Position Summary: Provides administrative support and manages office duties, with limited supervision, for the Applied Sensing Division. Daily responsibilities include the completion and submission of internal UDRI forms, internal budget tracking, resource allocation tracking, electronic document filing, travel forms, scheduling meetings, event-planning, managing timecards, and constructing clear correspondence.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least 2 years of demonstrated successful administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Organization and time-management skills
• Success demonstration of clear and accurate written communication
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to government contracts)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive work experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Purchasing/procurement experience
• Experience with government contracts
• Prior administrative experience at the University of Dayton
• Event planning experience
• Experience with SciQuest (Runway)
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Familiarity with an electronic timecard system
