Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Catering and/or the Catering Assistant General Manager, the Catering Operations Manager develops the Catering event process including the event concept and menus. Oversees the accuracy of billing and contracts and all associated processes. Coordinates room reservations for the first floor of Daniel J. Curran Place. Collaborates with Dining Services Marketing Administrative Assistant for Catering marketing purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality/Restaurant Management or other related field
Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision
Previous experience with invoicing and billing
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMS or similar event management software
Strong organizational skills
Ability to read and write in English
Proven ability in business math
Ability to work with people of all levels in a professional, friendly and helpful manner

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in office setting
Previous experience with contracts and insurance policies
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated professional demeanor
Ability to speak in English.
