Position Summary: The Assistant Administrator, Pre-Award Team will manage major proposals activities including reviewing RFPs, coordinating proposal activity, developing complex cost proposals, advising technical staff on proposal requirements, and overseeing preparation and submission of compliant proposals. The assistant administrator will also manage the proposal schedule and establish timelines for proposal activities. This person will also support training and direct the work of junior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years proposal pricing/budgeting experience.
Familiarity with the FARs and DFARs;
Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word;
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Due to the nature of the position, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Working knowledge of support functions within a government contracting environment.
Experience with various federal government contracting agencies, including DOD and GSA.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
