Position Summary: |

This senior position will be responsible for working as part of a diverse and skilled technical team to develop and test software in high level languages; to develop and test signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation; to rapidly integrate, test, and demonstrate hardware and software systems into a functional whole. A current United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position. This position is contingent upon receipt of contract funding.

Minimum Qualifications: |
* Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical discipline; * A minimum of eight years of directly related experience is required * 4 years C++ (or comparable object oriented language) development on Windows and/or Linux operating systems; * Experience developing software for Air Force systems; * Demonstrated, successful experience with software and system integration; * Effective written and verbal communication skills; * Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required; * Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance will be required for ongoing employment in this position

Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
* MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; * Experience developing software systems operating on limited, lossy, data link; * Data link and enterprise networking experience; * Experience with autonomy architectures and development * DOD Flight test experience * System integration experience * Proficient in Python * Experience in developing software utilizing OMS (Open Mission Systems) protocol * Simulation toolset experience (such as AFSim or similar); * Demonstrated, effective software architecture design experience; * Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) developing software applications specifically designed for use in multi platform (e.g. Windows and Linux) environments; * Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) with source code version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or similar; * Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills; * Existing US SECRET (or higher) clearance

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
