Position Summary:

Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# or Java programming and JavaScript, with optional experience in HTML and React. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining software systems.

Responsibilities:

-Design, execute, and maintain software systems
-Work closely with software development teams
-Troubleshoot and debug software issues
-Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
-Lead teams of junior developers

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering OR at least 3 years industry experience.
-1 year of experience with C# programming
-1 year of experience with Python programming
-1 year of experience with Agile software development
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Effective teamwork skills
-US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

-Experience with Typescript, and custom JavaScript frameworks
-Experience with Vue.js and Node.js
-Experience with Docker
-Experience with MongoDB
-Experience with Express
-Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
