Office Manager and Administrative support for the Directors of Student Transitions and Family Programs, Assessment and Planning and Information Technology and the Assistant Vice President for Student Development. The Administrative Assistant works closely with other Student Development staff, academic advisors, faculty and Dean's to establish clear communication regarding programs and support services and initiatives for the direct reports to the Assistant Vice President. The Administrative Assistant will respond to and refer inquiries, schedule appointments, maintain student leader databases, support hiring, training and programming initiatives and manage office operations for orientation programming and the suite. The Administrative Assistant will reconcile budgets and support program logistics.

Minimum Qualifications: |
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years of experience working in fast paced office environment. Experience using multiple office technology and equipment. Self starter who can support multiple staff members and multiple projects. Understanding of general business processes and experience with customer service initiatives. Ability to communicate in a professional manner. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Ability to draft documents independently and proof read documents for errors. Ability to plan and organize work in observance of deadlines. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience with reconciling budgets and creating budget reports

Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Experience in a Higher Education environment. Demonstrated experience with web site software such as Cascade. Demonstrated and successful experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic, Marianist work environment.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
