The Project Coordinator is a junior role which will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and tracking project-related activities, deliverables, and financials under the supervision of a project manager, project analyst, or engineering leader. Job activities may include, but are not limited to: • Tracking Deliverables • Developing, Maintaining, and Executing Project Schedules • Developing, Maintaining, and Tracking Budgets • Facilitation/Coordination of Meetings • Recording Meeting Minutes, Action Items, Risk Logs • Task Tracking, Reporting, Follow-up • Report and Briefing Preparation • Liaison with Contracts and Grants Office to facilitate contracting support and guidance to clients • Compile, maintain, and document community engagement metrics • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: |
• Bachelor’s degree • 1 year project/program management experience in a technical environment • 1 year facilitating team meetings, communications, and related activities • 1 year of stakeholder/customer communications/management • 1 year managing project financials or budgets • 1 year tracking and managing project risks and issues • Experience building and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project or similar project/resource planning tools • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail • Self-starter • Due to the nature of this position, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business-related field • 3 years project/program management experience in a technical environment • 3 years' experience in new product development or technology transition environment • 3 years managing project financials or budgets • 3 years tracking and managing project risks and issues • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Agile project management experience • Scrum Master certification • Systems engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently • Experience working for or working with startup companies

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
