Position Summary:

The Association of Marianist Universities invites qualified applicants to apply for the Senior Administrative Assistant opening! This is a 20 hour per week position. 

The primary duties of this position include administrative support to the Executive Director of the Association of Marianist Universities and for the Association of Marianist Universities (AMU) Board of Directors. This position is responsible for monitoring and reconciling AMU dues annually, coordination of certain Marianist Educational Associates (MEA) Initial Formation Programs, Formation Level II, and other inter-university focused gatherings.

Minimum Qualifications:

*High School Diploma.
*A minimum of 5 years previous office experience such as greeting guests, answering and referring phone calls, ordering supplies, filing and maintaining office in orderly fashion.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel, Outlook and Word) as used for preparing forms and maintaining correspondence, University reports, meeting agenda and minutes, and special projects.
*Experience managing and reconciling budgets and analyzing financial data.
*Excellent written communication skills.
*Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
*Proven experience to maintain confidentiality.
*Experience to engage effectively and respectfully with multiple constituents, such as AMU Board Presidents, faculty, staff, students, parents and University guests.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Basic knowledge of the principles of Catholic and Marianist traditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

*Post high school training, college course work or Associates degree.
*Previous experience transcribing voice recordings from digital voice recorder and Zoom conference call recordings.
*Experience with electronic calendar and mail system.
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Professional demeanor, flexibility, ability to work effectively under time pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Experience in developing digital newsletters
