As part of Enrollment Management Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Automation Strategist analyzes the team’s digital marketing processes and performance and recommends opportunities to automate or optimize communication throughout the enrollment cycle to improve the experience for prospective students and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a student-first mindset, with a strong understanding of marketing automation capabilities and technology (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) and the ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with leadership, internal clients, and technical and operations stakeholders. The Marketing Automation Strategist is a member of a creative team that collaborates closely to support the marketing needs of the Division of Enrollment Management, including producing compelling, innovative, results-oriented marketing to support developing new markets, recruitment and retention. This position will ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-impact marketing journeys that meet the specified requirements.
Position responsibilities include leading discovery and brainstorming sessions; translating strategy into tactical marketing requirements; collaborating with marketing and technical stakeholders to create, design and build journeys; supporting testing and validation activities; and analyzing performance to measure return on investment and optimize future campaigns. Candidates should have a strong understanding of best practices in email and SMS marketing.
